Starter Kit
The weeds starter kit is all you need to start your collection, the kit comes with everything until your first harvest including water compost and fertilizer. Get the starter kit at the Weeds Main Store
Raising Weedlings
Rez your weedlings out on your land, weedlings must stay rezzed on your land until 100% complete. There are no restrictions on height, your weedlings do not require any water, fertilizer or composts at this time. Their sex is also unknown at this stage. Your weedling will take approximately 3 days to mature and when they reach 100%, the float text will say Complete ✔ click on it and choose “Get Weed” from the menu and your adult weed will be delivered to you and your weedling will vanish.
Growing Your Weeds
Rez your adult weeds on your land, they will require water, compost and fertilizer now to survive.
Water
Your weeds thirst will start at 0% and when they reach 100% in thirst after 24 hours will look for a water can and consume 3 units of water (some weeds only consume 1 unit) depending on version, if your weeds thirst reaches 300%, the plant will die, ensure you have your weeds and water cans on the same group. A water can will need to be within 10 meters from weeds and plants.
Water cans can always be sourced from the water tap at the weeds store, water is free and you can take as many as you need, Its always better to place a few more cans around your garden or market than required. Read more on Water & Irrigation systems and the use of water tanks.
Compost
Weeds and all plants such as tobacco and veggies will consume 1 unit of compost per 24 hours. Your weeds compost will start at 100% and when they reach 50% will look for a bag or barrow of compost, your weed or plant will not die if the compost is lower than 50% though the plants health will decline faster and you will need to fix that before harvesting by providing compost and possibly fertilizer. So it best practice to always keep a few bags or barrows of compost around your plants or weeds to ensure successful harvesting. More information on types of Soil & Composts.
Fertilizer
Your weeds and plants will need to be fertilized once approximately once every 10 days, and you must keep the health of the plant above 70% for successful harvesting. if your plants health is a lower than 70% the plants or weed will not die, but your compost level will decline faster. Hud
Read more on how the HUD works. The Weeds HUD must be attached to your avatar to use the weeds farming system. If your new to Weeds and purchased a Starter Kit, don’t smoke all your joints at once, you will need your stoned level above 30% for your first harvest.
Gorean Starter Kit
The Gorean kit is an add on kit and contains no compost or fertilizer. The kit contains 4 Gorean weedlings that only breed with themselves.
